Are YOU the email problem? (Yikes!)

Been ghosted?  I hate to break it to you, but it just might be your fault…

(Brace yourself.  Tough love incoming…You’ll thank me later.)

You see, yes, sometimes people are too busy to reply or just not interested.

But sometimes YOU are the bigger problem.

(Ouch. It hurts, I know.)

But your original email was probably too vague.  Too waffly.  Or too ‘me me me’.

You rattled it off in seconds between your tuna sandwich and your next call.

And it just didn’t inspire your reader to hit reply.

So if you’re getting radio silence, try the BAM! method. Ask yourself if your original email was:

1. Bold

Did you ask for what you wanted clearly and directly? Or did you hedge, waffle or bury your request somewhere in paragraph three?

2. Achievable

Was your ask realistic and doable for that person? Did they have the time, budget or authority to act on it?

3. Motivational

Was there a reason to reply? Something in it for them – curiosity, benefit, fear of missing out?

If your message didn’t pack a BAM! punch, start afresh with a new one that ticks all the boxes.

And let me know the response you get! (I promise to be nicer…)
